About Pakistan:

The Pakistan national cricket team has represented Pakistan in International Cricket since 1952. It is controlled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the governing body for cricket in Pakistan, which is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Pakistan competes in cricket tours and tournaments sanctioned by the PCB and other regional or international cricket bodies in Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20) formats. Pakistan are current ICC Champions Trophy holders.

The Pakistan national cricket team, also known as the Green Shirts or Shaheens, is one of the most exciting teams in international cricket. Known for its unpredictable yet thrilling performances, Pakistan has produced some of the best cricketers in the world.

ICC Tournaments Won

ICC Cricket World Cup 1992 – Under the captaincy of Imran Khan, Pakistan won its first and only ODI World Cup.

ICC T20 World Cup 2009 – Led by Younis Khan, Pakistan won the T20 World Cup in England.

ICC Champions Trophy 2017 – Pakistan defeated India in the final under Sarfraz Ahmed’s captaincy.
